Focused on strengthening the foundation for science and technology, the School of Basic and Applied Sciences (SBAS) was established to provide advanced education and research opportunities in basic and applied sciences. The institution builds a strong foundation in many fundamental and crucial sciences, enabling the students to build a bright future in their area of interest in the future. The School offers B.Sc. and M.Sc. programs in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Forensic Science, Biophysics, Applied Geology and other subjects.
Established by the revered Mahatma Gandhi Mission Trust, a pioneer in higher education, research and social development, MGM University, is a Self-financed, State University, approved by the Government of Maharashtra under the MGM University Act 2019. It also has been accorded the 2(f) status by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.
MGM University aims to provide value-based, research-driven and experiential education that will transform the youth into professionally competent and socially responsible citizens.
