The Department of Social Sciences at MGM University prepares students for a career in the development sector. Established by the revered Mahatma Gandhi Mission Trust, a pioneer in higher education, research and social development, MGM University, is a Self-financed, State University, approved by the Government of Maharashtra under the MGM University Act 2019. It also has been accorded the 2(f) status by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.
